“Spiritually significant” is how Doug Stringer described the just completed Lions Roar event…Pat Morley said to the men on Wednesday, “There is only one way I could describe the Tuesday night anniversary dinner…it was ‘EPIC’”.

CHRISTIAN MENS NETWORK – WORLDWIDE

Celebrating the 30thanniversary of this Global Men’s Movement
Christian Men’s Network celebrated its 30th anniversary in October 2007 in Dallas, USA with a host of dynamic leaders from across the globe.
The ministry founded by the late Dr Edwin Louis Cole and now headed by his son Paul Cole, held a three-day conference to seek God’s divine wisdom as well as report on exciting events from around the world.

Men from 17 countries, every major continent, representing 140,000 churches and hundreds of church groups arrived in Dallas to see what God would say… not sure of the dynamics of the event, not sure of the outcome, hoping for a breakthrough… and it happened – a deep, explosive, fresh wave of the full force of Almighty God’s presence; And very clear direction emerged from the times of discussion, prayer and the word being shared with conviction.

It was very clear God has directed us to the major cities of the world… to take the unique message of the men’s movement to 10,000,000 men fully achieved by helping 250,000 pastors to become better disciplers, mentors of men. A very clear battle cry emerged “strong men build strong families and strong families build strong churches”, based on the principle:
Manhood and Christlikeness are Synonymous

Dr Robert Barriger, from Lima, Peru and Pastor Sunday Adelaja from Kiev, Ukraine are two of the leading Pastors in the world who shared their experiences of thousands of men going through the Christian Men’s Network (CMN) course titled ‘Majoring in Men’. The course is a weekly discipling and teaching course designed to raise the level of Godly manhood propelling each one into their Godly destiny.

CMN has a vision to see all men discipled and see lives transformed through the teaching and training programme that is in over 11,000 churches worldwide. Through the range of books, DVD’s, videotapes, and CD’s men’s lives are being transformed to build a legacy for the generation to come.

The conference, an annual event called ‘The Lions Roar’ sought to celebrate past victories, living strong in the present and being excited about the future.

Felix Ajayi CMN (UK) director attended as the UK representative and was able to share details of the recent move to new offices, the support between countries for discipling men and plans to further establish CMN throughout churches in the UK.

In support of this strategy, Paul Cole will be visiting the UK from 28th - November – 4th December 2007.
